Learning Pod Group 1 Meeting: Friday @ 9am weekly

Week 4 MatterMost Group Discussion Meeting Minutes:

• How to comment on each other’s posts
  • During this meeting, we helped each other by setting up comments on blog posts. As its a requirement for this weeks task, we ensured everyone’s profile is configured correctly
• From W3’s material, we discussed ‘Finsta Accounts’
  • As suggested by Jesse to bring up in conversation, we talked about how Instagram is splitting from solely a main account to a main account and a finsta account as it has its impacts on our personal digital identities. Our personal accounts are becoming more ‘professional’ in the sense that we may not want our entire following viewing posts therefore, finsta accounts are being made with a more selected following. However, we discussed that these more explicit posts are still being uploaded to the internet and can be unsafe in the future.

Week 5 MatterMost Group Discussion Meeting Minutes:

• Covered this weeks topic questions
  • Our group collaborated on this weeks questions – silos of information was a difficult question to understand therefore we took the time to share examples to further our learning and help with the blog post.
• Tried to create a new ‘tab’ on WordPress
  • Members in the group were having difficulties creating a new page on WordPress – was not successful in creating a new page. As each member has a different theme, it was hard to diagnose where the issue was coming from.

• Discussed this weeks topic questions – sharing our own thoughts
